Thanks to its Quad Balanced Drive architecture (2× TI OPA1602 + 2× SGM8262), two power modes (HYP/STD), and a high output of 560mW, the amplifier can power any IEM or portable headphones without overloading or overheating. The amplifier is easy to control using its 0.96" IPS display and a mobile app with a 10-band parametric EQ, which makes it simple to adjust the gain and playback volume (in 100 steps). The Cayin RU3 headphone amplifier is compatible with Mac, Android, and iOS systems.

The device is equipped with a 0.96" colour IPS display with a customisable user interface, which clearly shows playback information and other operational data. The RU3 amplifier is available in three elegant colours (black, azure, and purple).
