Dosage
Adults and children over 6 years of age usually take 500-1,000 mg (2-4 tablets) per day for vitamin C deficiency, and 200-500 mg per day to cover increased needs for a temporary period.
Celaskon 250 mg tablets are not for children aged 3-6 years, Celaskon 100 mg tablets are available for this age group.
For adults
Vitamin C is especially important for adults during periods of increased stress, such as strenuous physical work, sports, recovery from injuries or surgery, or during unilateral eating and in older age. Involved in a number of processes in the body - supports the immune system in infectious diseases, contributes to the production of hormones and neurotransmitters, aids the absorption of dietary iron and plays a key role in wound healing. It is also an important antioxidant that helps protect cells from the damaging effects of free radicals.
For children aged 6 and over
In children, vitamin C is particularly important during the period of growth and development. Contributes to the formation and maintenance of healthy bones, teeth, gums and blood vessels,and thus supports the proper development of the locomotor and circulatory system. Children also need it when they are under increased stress, for example during infectious diseases or after illness during recovery. Vitamin C supports the body's defences and ensures the proper functioning of the metabolism, which is particularly important in childhood.
Ingredients
The active substance is ascorbic acid 250 mg in one tablet. Excipients are corn starch, pre-swollen starch, disodium edetate dihydrate, talc, sodium stearyl fumarate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium carboxymethyl starch, beta-carotene powder 20% (maltodextrin, octenylsuccinyl starch sodium salt, beta carotene, sucrose, medium saturated triacylglycerols, ascorbic acid, sodium succinate, colloidal anhydrous silica).
Notice
Celaskon 250 mg tablets contain sucrose, to be taken into account in case of intolerance to certain sugars. Medicinal product for internal use, read the package leaflet carefully. It contains ascorbic acid.
Secondary symptoms:
At the recommended dosage, Celaskon is well tolerated because the amount of vitamin C that exceeds the body's needs is quickly excreted in the urine.
