Melatonin
Melatonin is a substance natural to our body, produced in a part of the brain called the pineal gland. Melatonin is important for the alternation of sleep and wakefulness.
The production and release of melatonin into the bloodstream depend on the natural cycle of light and dark. Melatonin levels therefore reach their peak in the evening before falling asleep and at night, when a person is usually in a deep sleep.
Recommended dosage
1/4 of a tablet daily. Take before bed.
