The Chainway C5 mobile terminal with UHF RFID technology is designed for data identification, collection and processing. The device runs on the Android 13 operating system, powered by an octa-core processor with a frequency of 2.3GHz and a memory configuration of 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It comes equipped with a 6” display, multi-touch controls and a removable 6700mAh battery. Other features include a rear 13MP camera with autofocus and flash, a front 5MP camera, a USB Type-C interface with OTG support, and a Micro SD card slot for up to 256GB. The device supports communication via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 2G, 3G and 4G mobile networks, and GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo location systems.

UHF RFID identification
The terminal is equipped with a CM710-1 UHF RFID module based on the Impinj E710 chip and supports the EPCglobal Gen 2 (ISO18000-6C) standard. The RFID module operates in the 865–868MHz, 902–928MHz and 920–925MHz bands. The antenna uses circular polarisation with a gain of 5dBic. The read range can reach up to 33 metres under laboratory conditions, depending on the tag used. The design meets the IP65 rating and withstands repeated drops from a height of 1.5m.
Construction and connectivity
The 2160 × 1080 pixel touchscreen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and supports operation with gloves and wet hands. The equipment includes a gravity sensor, proximity sensor and light sensor. The terminal supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, Bluetooth 5.0 and VoLTE. Power is provided by a removable battery, supplemented by a 100mAh backup battery that supports hot-swapping.
