Chateau Dauzac 2006 Margaux 0,75 l, 13 % vol.

The quality of the wines from this château has been steadily rising since the mid-1990s. The ever-improving wines are aged in wooden barrels for sixteen to eighteen months, with one-third of the barrels being regularly replaced. This wine has a fantastic ruby-red colour. The nose reveals cherries and plums with a subtle hint of toast and gingerbread. As it ages, the aroma develops more woody notes. The palate is smooth, delicate and pleasantly woody.
