Using a smartphone app, you can "ring" the chip to instantly find the thing you are looking for. If you are searching for your phone, then you use the opposite procedure - press the chip twice, and the phone will ring if it is within 60m. The mobile app also lets you locate Chipolo from a greater distance on the map. This is particularly useful if your keys or phone have slipped out of your pocket or your pet has run off.
