Discreet design and intuitive control

The SU Mini 74 Black was designed with an emphasis on aesthetics and functionality. Thanks to its fully integrated design, the hood becomes almost invisible and integrates perfectly into the upper cabinet, maintaining the clean look of your kitchen. Contactless gesture control ensures a fingerprint-free surface, while the remote control offers the convenience of traditional operation. 

Flexible operation and an efficient energy class

The hood offers flexible operation in both extraction and recirculation modes, making it an ideal choice for any type of kitchen. With an annual energy consumption of just 38.5kWh, the SU Mini 74 Black is rated in energy class A, which guarantees low running costs. The SU Mini 74 Black features a large lower LED panel that offers adjustable light temperature for perfect illumination of the work surface. This practical feature increases comfort while cooking, and you can also easily adjust the fan outlet by 90° to the rear, ensuring flexible installation in any kitchen.

Hand gesture control

Instead of pressing buttons, toggling sliders or looking for the remote control, you can use a modern, intuitive and completely contactless control system that lets you operate the hood with a few easy movements within range of the optical sensor. It also helps you keep the appliance clean, free of smudges and fingerprints. The hood is equipped with a distinctive coloured LED that will clearly inform you about its operation and the currently selected extraction power via its reflection in the glass hob (1-green; 2-blue; 3-purple; 4/Boost-red). To master the control of a hood equipped with this function, just remember three simple movements: 1. Hold your hand in front of the motion sensor for at least 2 seconds to turn the hood's LED lighting on or off. 2. Move your hand from left to right near the motion sensor to turn the hood on and, with each subsequent movement in the same direction, gradually increase the extraction power. 3. Moving your hand from right to left will gradually decrease the extraction power until the hood is completely switched off.

Inverter motor and Boost

Meet the new generation of inverter (also known as brushless or BLDC) motors, which are not only incomparably quieter and more economical than conventional carbon (or brushed) motors, but are also much more reliable. They are electronically controlled, which brings the highest possible operating efficiency, i.e. maximum performance with minimum energy consumption. With conventional motors equipped with carbon brushes, wear occurs due to friction with the rotor. In inverter motors, the classic carbon brushes are replaced by a rotor with magnets. This minimises the risk of mechanical wear and inverter motors will serve you long and reliably. The intensive extraction function, or boost, enables an immediate switch to maximum extraction power in the event of an acute need to ventilate a higher concentration of steam or odours.

Timer and anti-fingerprint surface

The delayed switch-off function lets you set a precise time for the hood to turn off, safely venting residual steam and odours at a low power level after you have finished cooking. In this way, you can easily and conveniently clean and freshen the air in the area where the meal was prepared for a pleasant and undisturbed dining experience. Ciarko Design comes with a unique anti-fingerprint lacquered surface on its hoods, which effectively resists ubiquitous dirt and grease. Recirculation

In recirculation mode, the air drawn in is not ducted out of the room, but remains inside the living space. The hood draws in air contaminated with cooking and frying fumes and, after cleaning, blows it back into the kitchen. In addition to the grease filter, a carbon filter must also be installed in the hood in recirculation mode. The intake air first passes through the grease filters, which trap heavy grease particles, and then through activated carbon filters, which absorb odours. As the carbon filter wears out, its surface can no longer bind the required amount of odour molecules and the filtration efficiency decreases over time. The carbon filter must therefore be replaced regularly.
