The CISCO SLM2008T-EU is an 8-port switch at 10/100/1000 Mbps. It offers fast and easy acceleration of your network when switching to fast Ethernet. It is better suited for smaller networks and households that need to expand the internet to all their computers and devices. This switch operates at a maximum bit rate of 1 Gbit per second, and it is not a problem to transmit large volumes of data, or to run more demanding applications that require Internet connectivity, such as online games or server activities. 
The switch belongs to the so-called SmartSwitches, which are set and managed via a web-based interface that is very easy to use. It uses RADIUS and MD5 authentication protocols and access control, and security also underlines the ability to create an address MAC table with up to 8,000 records. With integrated QoS support, this switch improves throughput when working with large volumes of data or when processing demanding applications.
