It features support for Wi-Fi 802.11n, which is suitable for the transmission of sensitive and bulky data such as video streaming. Access point primarily operates in a mode where it is connected clients, but it also can be used as a wireless bridge connection between two Ethernet segments or as a repeater for amplifying the signal.
Wireless data transmission is directed by three omnidirectional antennas with a gain of 2 dBi. Reliable security wireless networking ensures WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) or filter MAC addresses, which allows you to strictly control who will have access to the network. For wired LAN connectors serve five auto-sensing full/half-duplex and the connected cable type. High-quality voice and video data over Wi-Fi or standard cable takes care of support QoS (Quality of Service).
The access point can be powered via DC connector classically supplied AC adapter or via the classical UTP cable, as it supports standard 802.11af (Power over Ethernet). This is another huge advantage because the access point can be installed even in places where there are no available electrical outlet.
