Preparation
Grind the coffee to a coarseness suitable for your chosen coffee preparation methour The coffee is supplied as whole beans as standard, i.e., unground.
Storage
Only open the coffee just before preparation. Even then, you don't need to transfer it to another container. Simply reseal the bag using the zip lock. The three-layer packaging protects the coffee from the air, while the one-way valve allows naturally occurring carbon dioxide to escape. This lets the beans breathe without going stale. Place the package somewhere with a stable temperature and dry conditions – which definitely means not in the fridge or freezer. In there, the coffee would unnecessarily absorb moisture and surrounding odours. Not even our special bags would help in that case.
