Preparation
Grind the coffee to a coarseness suitable for your chosen preparation methour The coffee is supplied as whole beans (not ground) by default.
Storage
Only open the coffee just before you prepare it. Even then, you don't need to transfer it to another container. Simply reseal the bag using the zip. The three-layer packaging protects the coffee from the air, while the one-way valve allows the naturally produced carbon dioxide to escape. This allows the beans to breathe without going stale. Keep the package somewhere with a constant temperature and dry conditions—which definitely isn't a fridge or freezer. The coffee would unnecessarily absorb moisture and surrounding odours. Even our special bags wouldn't help there.
