Choosing a power supply
When choosing a suitable PC power supply, the key parameter besides the form factor is its power output. This indicates the maximum number of watts the power supply can continuously deliver to the computer's components. It's a good idea to use a web calculator to determine the optimal power output based on your chosen components.
Stable power
The power supply can handle sudden power demands. If needed, it can briefly supply up to 100W more power. The ability to cover power peaks for up to 20 seconds is crucial for smooth system performance when launching demanding applications or games. The active PFC and dual forward topology contributes to efficient and stable power for all connected devices.
Efficient and quiet cooling
A 120mm fan takes care of heat dissipation. Its speed automatically adjusts to the current temperature and load of the power supply. Thanks to thermal speed control, the power supply runs quietly at low loads while maintaining optimal operating temperatures at full power. High temperature resistance supports operation at ambient temperatures of up to 40°C without any reduction in performance.
Comprehensive protection
A set of six integrated protections ensures the safety of your connected components. The features include over-voltage, under-voltage, overload, short-circuit, and over-temperature protection. This is complemented by inrush current protection, which safeguards the power supply and components when you start your computer. The protection system contributes to a long service life for the entire build.

80 Plus certification in the European market
80 Plus certification was created to objectively evaluate the efficiency of computer power supplies. This gives users a simple and clear way to compare different models. In the European market (where 230V is used), there are six levels of 80 Plus certification with set requirements for computer power supplies. Higher energy efficiency primarily means lower energy consumption.
| PC power supply load | Efficiency at 20% load | Efficiency at 50% load | Efficiency at 100% load |
|---|---|---|---|
| 80 PLUS | 82 % | 85 % | 82 % |
| 80 PLUS Bronze | 85 % | 88 % | 85 % |
| 80 PLUS Silver | 87 % | 90 % | 87 % |
