The 80 PLUS Gold certification confirms high conversion efficiency of electrical energy, which reaches a value of 90% at 50% load. Most of the energy from the mains is thus efficiently used to power the components. Less energy is converted into waste heat, which reduces cooling demands, supports quieter operation, and contributes to lower running costs.
