Composition of vaginal tablets Cotylena 200 mg
The active ingredient is clotrimazolum 200 mg in one vaginal tablet.
Dosage and method of use
Use the product according to the package insert. Apply 1 vaginal tablet daily using the included applicator, preferably in the evening, for 3 days. Start treatment in the middle of the menstrual cycle to avoid interruption. If the tablet does not dissolve completely, in case of too dry vaginal mucosa, Cotylena cream 10 mg/g is preferable.
Contraindications
Read the package insert carefully. Do not use Cotylena if you are hypersensitive to clotrimazole or to any of the other ingredients in this medicine. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you think, that you might be pregnant, or you're planning to get pregnant, check with your doctor first, before using this product. The use of the product in pregnancy (especially in the first three months) and during breastfeeding must be decided by a doctor. If your doctor uses the product in the 2nd or 3rd trimester (i.e. in 4. -9. months) of pregnancy will recommend, vaginal tablets should be introduced without an applicator.
Storage
Store at temperatures up to 30 °C. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use the product after the expiry date stated on the packaging after "EXP". The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
