COURVOISIER VSOP 700ml 40%

COURVOISIER VSOP 700ml 40%
Courvoisier is one of the “big four” largest cognac producers. Yet its beginnings were very humble. Shortly after the French Revolution, in 1809, Emmanuel Courvoisier and Louis Gallois decided to go into the wine and spirits business. They found the ideal location, started production, and it wasn't long before word of their skill reached Napoleon himself. He then distributed the cognac to his troops to boost morale during the Napoleonic Wars. When he went into exile after his defeat, Courvoisier cognac kept him company. You can find Napoleon's stylised portrait on the bottle of Courvoisier VSOP, a very superior old pale cognac, which blends the finest grapes from the vineyards of the French regions of Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne and Fins Bois. Courvoisier VSOP brandies mature in French oak barrels for up to 12 years before being expertly blended to perfection.
Enjoy the distinctive aroma of Courvoisier VSOP
Courvoisier VSOP has a distinctive aroma of fruit and flowers – dominated by juicy ripe peaches, toasted almonds and jasmine. The medium-bodied taste reveals notes of oak wood, spice, vanilla and almonds. Older cognacs, such as Courvoisier VSOP, can be enjoyed both on their own and to enhance classic cognac cocktails. Taste Napoleon's true love.
