Daslodil 5 mg is an anti-allergy medication with the active ingredient desloratadine, which helps relieve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (e.g. hay fever or dust allergy) and urticaria in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. It relieves sneezing, itchy nose, eyes and skin without causing drowsiness.
Dosage
The recommended dose of Daslodil for adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older is one tablet (5 mg) once daily. The tablet is swallowed whole with water and can be taken with or without food. This medication is intended for oral administration and should not be taken for more than 3 months without consulting a physician. If there is no improvement within 7 days or if the symptoms worsen, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
Contraindications
Daslodil should not be taken if you are allergic to desloratadine, loratadine, or any other component of this medicine. Caution should be exercised before use in persons with impaired renal function and in patients who have or have had epileptic seizures or have a family history of epilepsy. The product is not intended for children under 12 years of age. It is not recommended for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
