Operating thrust

The operating draft is the pressure difference in the chimney system that allows the natural exhaust of the stove flue gases. It is influenced by the height and cross-section of the chimney, the outside temperature and the design of the stove. Too low a draft leads to poor combustion and chimney clogging, while too high a draft causes excessive air intake and heat loss. This parameter indicates the recommended operating draft.
