Zentiva Diozen® Forte 1000 mg, a medicinal product intended for adults, treats symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency of the lower limbs, manifested by heavy and swollen legs, pain and cramps in the legs, or hemorrhoidal disease, associated with pain, itching and burning of the anus.
Are your feet swollen, do you feel pain and cramps in them, do they seem heavy after prolonged sitting or standing? Or have you been bothered by itching and burning in the rectal area for a long time? These are the manifestations of chronic venous insufficiency of the lower limbs (you may know it from conversations with the neighborhood under the name varicose veins) and hemorrhoidal disease, which are caused by impaired vein function. With Diozen® forte you will strengthen the venous wall, which will provide relief from the described problems.

Diozen® forte for vascular resistance
The active ingredient of Diozen® forte is diosmin, which belongs to the so-called. flavonoids. These are found, for example, in citrus fruits. But not in such quantities that they can be used to treat vascular disease. Diozen® forte belongs to the group of veno-pharmaceuticals or venotonics.
General treatment with tablets is often neglected for fear of side effects and local therapy (ointments, suppositories) is preferred. If you suffer from both varicose veins and "hemorrhoids", Diozen® forte will relieve you from the unpleasant symptoms of both diseases.
- The main effects of diosmin are to increase the tension of the vein wall and to strengthen it (resistance).

The place of Diozen forte in the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency of the lower limbs
Diozen® is one of the options of the so-called. conservative treatment, which is aimed at relieving symptoms (hence the term symptomatic) and preventing their worsening.
It can be administered alone or in combination with the so-called. compression therapy consisting of wearing compression stockings. These will not resolve varicose veins that have already developed, but they can reduce their development. Unlike Diozen®, they only work when you wear them. In addition, Diozen® can be combined with supportive local treatment, for example in the form of ointments or suppositories.
In the fight against haemorrhoidal disease, do not forget to also modify your lifestyle - limit long sitting or at least compensate for it with movement, change your diet to prevent constipation (include more fluids and fibre), have regular bowel movements, definitely do not sit on the toilet for a long time and after toileting, include a thorough hygiene of the intimate parts.
Dosage of Diozen® forte
Diozen® forte differs from Diozen® only in the amount of active ingredient in the tablet, which is twice as high.
In chronic venous insufficiency lower limbs, it is recommended to take this therapy for 4-5 weeks at a dose of 1 tablet per day.

Storage
