The DJI Osmo Mobile 8 Advanced Tracking Combo creates the ideal conditions for filming – combining smart tracking, high-quality audio³, and customisable lighting². An integrated extension rod with a tripod and person or pet tracking features² lets you capture unique moments from everyday life. Creative shots are supported by 360° rotation and three-axis stabilisation.
Multifunctional stabiliser module
The Osmo Mobile 8, combined with the multifunctional module, precisely tracks people, cats, and dogs². The module attaches easily to the stabiliser, and you can start filming immediately using the camera or the DJI Mimo app. The gimbal reacts quickly to movement, and with NFC and Bluetooth¹, connection is instant. iPhone users can take advantage of the magnetic attachment¹⁰. The module offers several features:
- ActiveTrack 7.0⁵ – precise object tracking with switching between multiple people; the Dual Lens Boost⁶ feature uses both wide-angle and telephoto lenses
- Fill light – eight brightness levels and colour temperature adjustment
- Audio recording – compatibility with DJI Mic 3 / Mic Mini / Mic 2⁷ transmitters for high-quality audio when live streaming and vlogging
- Pet and person tracking – detection even during fast movement, activated by gesture or trigger
Simple control of the DJI Osmo Mobile 8 Advanced Tracking Combo gimbal
The stabiliser offers user-friendly controls. The 360° horizontal rotation enables the creation of smooth panoramic shots from various angles. The extension rod expands your shot without extra accessories – the tripod is part of the handle⁹. The side wheel on the left is used to control zoom, focus¹, light, and brightness. Gesture control is also available⁸:
- Palm gesture – starts or stops tracking
- V-shape gesture – takes a photo or starts/stops video
- Double-L gesture – keeps you in the centre of the frame
