The DJI Osmo Mobile 8P features the new Osmo FrameTap system, which displays the preview from your phone or the Multifunctional Module 2 directly on the remote controller. ⁶ This makes it easy to create precise compositions, even when filming remotely or using the rear camera.

ActiveTrack 8.0 for intelligent subject tracking
ActiveTrack 8.0 technology takes tracking to a new level. The gimbal can intelligently track people, pets, and various objects ³ and keep them steadily in the centre of the frame, even during fast movement. ⁷ This feature is especially useful for vlogging, filming sports, concerts, events, live streaming, or capturing footage of children and pets.
Multifunctional Module 2 with fill light
The optional Multifunctional Module 2 provides advanced features, including subject tracking, an integrated fill light, brightness and colour temperature adjustment, and enhanced gimbal control. The fill light module offers a total of eight brightness levels and eight colour presets to suit the current conditions.

The DJI Osmo Mobile 8P stabiliser supports both wide-angle ⁸ and telephoto lenses on your phone, enabling it to track fast-moving subjects across a wider range. If the tracked subject leaves the frame, the DJI Mimo app automatically brings it back. A practical part of the design is the integrated extension rod, which expands the field of view, a built-in tripod for greater stability on various surfaces, ⁹ and a compact, foldable design that saves space when carrying.
The stabiliser lasts up to 10 hours in operation
The Osmo Mobile 8P model lasts up to 10 hours on a single charge. Charging is done via the USB-C port, which you'll appreciate especially during longer shoots or live streams.
Three-axis gimbal stabilisation
The Osmo Mobile 8P uses eighth-generation stabilisation technology for perfectly smooth footage without any loss of quality. It offers four modes:
- PTF – stable during vertical and horizontal movement, ideal for shooting upwards and downwards
- FPV – all three axes move together; suitable for dynamic shots
- PF – stabilises horizontal movements, ideal for smooth orbits around subjects
- SpinShot – rotates right or left for dramatic transitions and high-angle shots
