What's a mummy?

Mumio is a brown-black, characteristically scented alpine resin that has been used in Oriental medicine for over 3000 years. Since ancient times, it was considered a special substance known only to the chosen people. It is found in the mountains of Asia, where it forms tear-shaped stalactites on the walls and ceilings of caves - hence the mummy's name "tears of rocks" or "miracle of Asia". Exactly where it is located remains shrouded in mystery. Local mummy collectors keep this information secret and pass it down from generation to generation. The best quality mumio comes from the Altai region. Its processing is as gentle as possible to preserve as many active ingredients as possible. Mumio has extremely stimulating, regenerating and harmonizing effects on the body and mind.
