The DuraHome Roman pot, with a 4L capacity, allows for healthy roasting without added fat. It is made from natural earthenware clay, which, after soaking, releases steam and keeps dishes juicy. Its oval shape is ideal for preparing meat, vegetables, fish, and even homemade bread. The pot is designed exclusively for use in the oven, where it preserves the natural flavour and nutrients of the ingredients.

Preparation and Roasting in a Roman Pot

Before each use, it is necessary to immerse the pot and its lid in cold water for approximately 30 minutes. During roasting, the soaked clay gradually releases moisture, allowing the food to braise in its own juices. This preparation method preserves the maximum amount of vitamins and the natural flavour of the ingredients. Always place the pot into a cold oven and increase the temperature gradually. To achieve a crispy crust, simply remove the lid about 10 minutes before the end of the roasting time. The pot is not intended for use on gas or electric hobs, and sudden temperature changes must be avoided.

Soak in water for 30 minutes before use. Always place in a cold oven. Maximum temperature 200°C. Do not expose to sudden thermal shocks. Not intended for gas or electric hobs.
