TILT rocking mechanism

The backrest tilts backwards and forwards together with the seat. It can only be locked in the basic (upright) position. It is controlled by a lever on the right side; just pull it out to the side to activate the function. If you want to stop rocking, return to the basic sitting position. Push the right lever back in and the rocking will stop. The rocking stiffness, or rocking force, is adjusted according to your weight. This is controlled by a rotary knob under the seat. The backrest angle can be adjusted between 90–135 degrees using the lever on the right side of the backrest, just like in a car seat. 90° for work, 135° for relaxing. The height is adjusted according to your height and leg length. Ideally, your feet should be flat on the floor for most of the time, with your knees bent at an angle of 90–120 degrees. This is controlled by the lever on the right side.

Chair and seat height – press the lever down lightly

Chair assembly:
After unpacking, insert the castors into the arms of the base (five holes in the lower part of each arm are for the castors). Insert the piston into the hole for the piston, after moving it around a bit first. Mount the mechanism to the underside of the seat (place the seat upside down to make it easy to handle, preferably on a mat or a table with a raised surface). Mount the armrests to the underside of the seat. Attach the backrest to the seat. Place the seat with the backrest and armrests onto the piston with the base and castors. Check that you have tightened all the screws sufficiently. Done, you can now take a seat.
