TILT rocking mechanism

The backrest and seat tilt backwards and forwards together. It can only be locked in the basic (upright) position. You control it with the lever on the right-hand side; simply pull it out to the side to activate the function. When you want to stop rocking, return to the basic sitting position. Push the right lever back in and the rocking will stop. The rocking tension, or rocking force, is adjusted according to your weight. You control this with the rotary knob under the seat. The backrest tilt, ranging from 90–135 degrees, is controlled by a lever on the right side of the backrest, just like in a car seat. 90° for work, 135° for relaxing. The height adjustment depends on your height and leg length. Ideally, your feet should be flat on the floor most of the time, with your knees bent at an angle of 90–120 degrees. You control this with the lever on the right-hand side.

Chair and seat height – gently press the lever down

Chair assembly:
After unpacking, insert the castors into the arms of the base (five holes in the bottom of each arm are intended for the castors). Insert the piston into the piston hole, after having moved it a little first. Mount the mechanism to the bottom of the seat (place the seat upside down to make it easy to handle, preferably on a mat or a table with a raised surface). Mount the armrests to the bottom of the seat. Attach the backrest to the seat. Place the seat with the backrest and armrests onto the piston with the base and castors. Check that you have tightened all the screws sufficiently. Done, you can now take a seat.
