TILT rocking mechanism

The backrest tilts backwards and forwards together with the seat. It can only be locked in the basic (upright) position. You control it with the lever on the right side; simply pull it outwards to activate the function. When you want to stop rocking, return to the basic upright position. Push the right lever back in and the rocking will stop. The rocking tension, or rocking force, is adjusted according to your weight. You control this with the rotary knob under the seat. The backrest recline, ranging from 90–135 degrees, is controlled by a lever on the right side of the backrest, just like in a car seat. 90° for work, 135° for relaxing. The height adjustment depends on your height and leg length. Ideally, your feet should be flat on the floor most of the time, with your knees bent at a 90–120 degree angle. You control this with the lever on the right side.

Chair and seat height – press the lever down slightly
Rocking – pull the lever outwards, push it back in to stop rocking (locks in the base position)

Chair assembly:
After unpacking, insert the castors into the arms of the base (five holes in the bottom of the individual arms are intended for the castors). Insert the piston into the hole for the piston, after having first set it in motion. Mount the mechanism to the bottom of the seat (place the seat upside down to make it easy to handle, preferably on a mat or a table with a raised surface). Mount the armrests to the bottom of the seat. Attach the backrest to the seat. Place the seat with the backrest and armrests onto the piston with the base and castors. Check that you have tightened all the screws sufficiently. Done, you can now take a seat.
