Cherry mead combines rich honey with the flavour of juicy sour cherries. Thanks to its delicious taste, it won a gold medal at the prestigious Great American IWC 2017 competition in New York.

Key features of Elisa Cherry mead liqueur

• A traditional, honest mead from Nivnice, Elisa has been made according to an original family recipe since 1973
• It is made from the best Czech honeys using a cold process to preserve all the important substances in the honey, and after fermentation it matures in deep, air-conditioned cellars
• Its base is honey and water treated with Bio Control System technology, while a blend of herbs and spices gives the mead its unmistakable flavour
• Refreshing in summer and warming in winter, the mead can be enjoyed chilled or warmed
• In the summer months, it is wonderfully refreshing when served at a temperature of 12–16 degrees Celsius
• In winter, warm the mead in an uncovered container to a maximum temperature of 50 to 60 degrees Celsius, ensuring it does not boil
• A slice of lemon can be added to both cold and warm mead
