Originál mead is the flagship product of the Elisa brand. Its unique bittersweet taste is the result of the honey, herbs and spices used. A traditional, honest mead from Nivnice. Elisa has been produced according to an original family recipe since 1973. It is made from the finest Czech honeys using a cold process to preserve all the important substances found in bee honey. After fermentation, it matures in deep, air-conditioned cellars. Its base is honey and water treated with Bio Control System technology. The blend of herbs and spices then gives the mead its unmistakable flavour.

- In the summer months, it is wonderfully refreshing when served at a temperature of 12–16°C
- In winter, heat the mead in an uncovered container to a maximum temperature of 50 to 60°C, ensuring it does not boil
- A slice of lemon can be added to both cold and warm mead
