The EMPIRE VD STROMBOLI 60 is a black, built-in, telescopic cooker hood with rear or top extraction (both 120mm). The extraction units have an individually balanced turbine, and the motors are fitted with return thermal fuses (the motor switches off when overloaded and switches on again after cooling down). The metal sandwich grease filters are dishwasher-safe, and the hood can operate in both extraction and recirculation modes. In recirculation mode, the hood is fitted with a carbon odour filter. The filtered air is ducted out of the hood in a similar way to extraction mode, via a pipe that runs through the entire cabinet. However, the pipe does not lead into the wall with an elbow, but above the cabinet, where it is recommended to finish it with a grille.
