The extraction units of the EMPIRE VD TIBERA 60 built-in cooker hood feature an individually balanced turbine. The motors are equipped with resettable thermal fuses (they switch off if the motor overloads and switch on again after it has cooled down). The metal sandwich grease filters are dishwasher-safe. The hood offers both extraction and recirculation modes. For recirculation mode, the hood is fitted with a carbon odour filter. The filtered air is channelled out of the hood through a pipe, just like in extraction mode, which runs through the entire cabinet. However, the pipe does not lead into the wall but ends above the cabinet, where it is recommended to terminate it with a grille. The remote control makes maintaining the hood easier (fewer fingerprints on the hood = easier cleaning). The controller has a magnet, so you can attach it to your fridge door (keeping it handy and preventing it from getting lost).
