The Epson EH-LS670W projector uses 3LCD display technology and a laser light source to project in a native 3840 × 2160 4K UHD resolution. You can use this 4K laser projector in living rooms, where its brightness of 3600 ANSI lumens in normal mode can handle projection even in rooms that are not blacked out. Thanks to its ultra-short throw, this Epson projector only needs to be placed a few centimetres from the wall on a TV cabinet, which eliminates the risk of shadowing the image. Projector image and resolution
The 3LCD display technology projects a 16:9 aspect ratio image in a native 3840 × 2160 4K UHD resolution. The brightness in normal mode is 3600 ANSI lumens; in economy mode, this drops to 1800 ANSI lumens. The projector operates with a high contrast ratio of over 5,000,000:1 and creates an image with a screen size from 60" to 120".
Light source and operating features
A laser serves as the light source, with a lifespan of 20000 hours in both normal and medium modes. This corresponds to many years of operation without needing to replace the lamp or perform related maintenance. The device's power consumption in normal operation is 193W, which reduces to 103W in the power-saving ECO mode. The fan noise drops to 20dB in economy mode. In normal mode, the noise level is 29dB, supporting undisturbed viewing even during quieter scenes.
Projection and installation of the Epson EH-LS670W projector
Thanks to its ultra-short throw and a throw ratio of 0.25–0.62:1, the projector projects an image from very close to the wall, at a distance of 0.3 to 0.7 metres. For precise image geometry adjustment, you can use the Arc Correction and Quick Corner tools. The digital zoom with a factor of 1–2.5 adjusts the image size without needing to move the projector. Install the projector on a table or in a TV cabinet.
Smart features and sound
The projector runs on the Google TV operating system, which provides access to streaming services and apps. The system integrates Chromecast for content mirroring and the Google Assistant voice assistant. The audio component is handled by a 2.1 channel system from Bose with 20W of power, consisting of two satellites and a subwoofer. The connector equipment includes two HDMI ports with HDCP 2.3 support and ARC/eARC functionality for audio transmission. It also offers two USB 2.0-A ports and a digital coaxial audio output. Wireless connectivity is provided by the WiFi 6E standard and Bluetooth 5.2.
