The Xkey features 25 full-size keys that precisely match the width of traditional piano keys. Its ultra-slim and lightweight design makes it easy to travel with. The robust, high-quality construction with an ultra-slim, stylised anodised aluminium body gives the Xkey a solid and elegant look. The velocity-sensitive keys let you play with the same expression as on a professional stage piano. The Xkey works with standard MIDI data, ensuring compatibility with all MIDI applications on Mac, PC and mobile devices. The ability to control sound effects individually by applying pressure to the keys is a feature common in professional studios.

Controls, compatibility and software

Durable rubber smart buttons provide Pitch Bend, Modulation, Sustain and Octave range change functions. Simple plug & play connection works with macOS, Windows, iPhoneOS, iPadOS, Linux and Android. To get you started right out of the box, the Xkey 25 comes with a powerful software package for professional recording, songwriting, mixing and other audio work. The OCTAVE+ and OCTAVE- buttons let you shift the range up or down an octave. The pressure-sensitive MODULATION button sends MIDI data for modulation. The pressure-sensitive PITCH BEND+ and PITCH BEND- buttons let you bend the pitch up or down using MIDI pitch bend data. The SUSTAIN button turns the MIDI sustain function on or off.
