EVOLVEO Detective WN8 SMART replacement wireless camera
The EVOLVEO Detective WN8 SMART IP camera expands your existing camera system with an additional monitoring point with Full HD 1920 × 1080 resolution. Its all-metal construction withstands external elements in a temperature range from −15°C to +50°C, while the fixed 4mm lens with an f/2.4 aperture captures an 84° horizontal and 45° vertical angle. Night-time surveillance is provided by infrared illumination with a wavelength of 850nm and 24 IR LEDs, which light up the scene up to a distance of 15 to 20 metres. The device connects wirelessly via 2.4GHz WiFi or with a cable via the LAN RJ45 interface, and is powered from the mains using the supplied 12V adapter.

Detailed Full HD image
The imaging element is a 1/2.9" CMOS sensor with a 2Mpx resolution, which provides smooth video recording in 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution at a frame rate of 30fps. The fixed lens with a 4mm focal length and f/2.4 aperture captures a wide area without the need for additional focusing. The optical system provides a field of view of 84° horizontally and 45° vertically, which is sufficient for an overview of an entrance, yard or driveway.
Durable construction
The all-metal Bullet-style body meets the demanding requirements for outdoor operation and has an IP66 protection rating. The device operates reliably in temperatures from −15°C to +50°C, so it can withstand heavy rain, snow and summer heat. For wall mounting, there is a solid base with a screw spacing of 47 × 47mm, which allows for stable anchoring and precise aiming at the desired area.
Connectivity and application
Connectivity is provided by an integrated 2.4GHz WiFi module with an external 5db antenna for stable wireless signal transmission. The 10/100M LAN RJ45 ethernet port is used for initial pairing on the local network or for a stable wired connection. The camera can be integrated into a smart home via Google Home or Amazon Alexa, and is controlled via a mobile app for Android and iOS operating systems.
