The FiiO BTR7 headphone amplifier is designed with a complete audio architecture consisting of a premium Dual DAC chipset with a low-pass filter and dual THX amplifier chips. Its detailed and precise sound performance can easily rival a premium HiFi player. The FiiO BTR7 is designed with dual Sabre DAC chipsets. It contains two ES9219C DAC chips from ESS Sabre Technologies. The BTR7 is supported by an 8-core XMOS XU208 USB controller chipset and can also be used as a high-resolution USB DAC/AMP. It handles native 32-bit/384kHz PCM signal decoding. The BTR7 is equipped with a QCC5124 Bluetooth chipset from Qualcomm. It provides impressive Bluetooth connectivity with ultra-low latency, a stable connection, and proper audio and video synchronisation.

Design and user interface
The FiiO BTR7 headphone amplifier features a seventh-generation mecha-style design. The device looks exceptional and includes a bright 1.3” IPS display. It presents a colourful, rich, and innovative user interface, which is a showcase piece of the latest BTR7 (2026). It supports wireless codecs including high-resolution LDAC, AptX HD, AptX Adaptive, and standard AAC and SBC transmission codecs. It also supports MQA rendering for Master Quality Authenticated files with an MQA-enabled player.
Connectivity, battery life and charging
The FiiO BTR7 headphone amplifier includes both single-ended and balanced ports for connecting headphones. It supports 3.5mm single-ended headphones and 4.4mm balanced headphone connections. Use IEMs and headphones with both balanced and single-ended connections easily with the BTR7, just like with a Hi-Res player. The FiiO BTR7 is the world's first Bluetooth DAC/AMP to support wireless charging compatible with the Qi protocol. It comes with a large 880mAh battery that provides up to 9 hours of continuous music playback.
