Top level electronics

The original X1 made a name for itself with its polished sound reproduction, but the successor goes even further in quality after a wave of electronics innovations that were not available at the time of the first model. The Professionalised DAC CM5242 from Texas Instruments is capable of wider signal/noise distances and a perfectly balanced output. Linked LPFs and operational amplifiers are optimized for DAC co-operation to deliver more realistic reproduction of low-frequency tones.
