Fresubin is a complete high-calorie (2kcal/g) crème-style nutrition for patients suffering from insufficient energy and protein intake or with restricted fluid intake and swallowing problems. It can be used as a supplement or as a complete meal replacement for malnutrition and loss of appetite due to various causes (pain, illness) or insufficient food intake. It is particularly suitable as an alternative for patients who for any reason do not want to drink nutritional drinks. The creamy consistency is easy to swallow and prevents aspiration, which is especially useful for patients with dysphagia. The crème is low in lactose and contains no fibre or gluten.

💊 Instructions for Use
It tastes best chilled, but can also be served at room temperature.
- Stir before use
- Eat in small spoonfuls between main meals as a snack or before bed as a second supper
- Combine consumption with a favourite activity – e.g., reading the newspaper or watching a favourite show
Dosage
Must be determined by a healthcare professional according to the patient's needs. As a supplement to a normal diet, take 3–4 pots (750–1,000kcal) daily. For total nutrition, take 7–8 pots (1,750–2,000kcal) daily. Ensure adequate fluid intake. Use for at least 2 weeks.
