Fresubin is a complete high-calorie (2kcal/ml) liquid nutritional drink for patients suffering from an insufficient intake of energy and protein or with a limited fluid intake. It can be used as a supplement or as a complete meal replacement for malnutrition and loss of appetite due to various causes (pain, illness) or due to insufficient food intake. It is particularly suitable for the nutrition of senior citizens, as adequate nutrition in old age is important for maintaining health, vitality and self-sufficiency. The drink is low in lactose and does not contain fibre or gluten.

Fresubin is especially suitable for patients:

Dosage
Must be determined by a healthcare professional according to the patient's needs. As a supplement to your normal diet, take 2–3 bottles daily (400–800 kcal). For total nutrition, take 4–5 bottles daily (1,600–2,000 kcal). If used for total nutrition, consider the high protein content. Use for at least 2 weeks.
💊 Instructions for use
It tastes best chilled, but can also be served at room temperature or warmed (to a maximum of 50°C).
- Shake before use
- Sip slowly between main meals as a snack or before bed as a second supper
- Combine sipping with a favourite activity – e.g. reading the newspaper or watching your favourite programme
