Fresubin Protein Energy DRINK is a liquid nutrition to drink for health problems with an extra portion of protein 20 g in one 200 ml bottle.It contains all the nutrients, that the patient needs (sugars, fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals). It is particularly suitable for preparation for surgery and recovery after surgery, for supporting wound healing and pressure sores and for elderly patients. The drink contains only a small amount of lactose and is completely gluten-free.

Complete liquid nutrition with high protein content in a small volume is ideal for patients before and after surgery, after injuries, during convalescence, hospitalization and for the elderly. It can be used as a supplement or a full-fledged diet replacement in malnutrition or at risk of diseases associated with inadequate nutrition, especially in people with higher energy and protein needs or limited fluid intake.

Dosage and method of use

It must be determined by a healthcare professional according to the needs of the patient. Take 2-3 bottles per day (600-900 kcal) as a supplement to your regular diet. For total nutrition, take 4-5 bottles per day (1200-1500 kcal). If used for general nutrition, consider high protein. Take for at least 2 weeks. Shake before use. Drink in small sips between main meals as a snack or before bedtime as a second dinner. It tastes best chilled, but can also be served at room temperature or warmed up (to a maximum of 50° Celsius). Combine sipping with a favourite activity - e.g. reading the newspaper.
