FujiFilm X100VI Silver
FujiFilm X100VI Silver Compact Digital Camera
The Fujifilm X100VI Silver is the sixth generation of the legendary X100 series, combining iconic retro design with sophisticated technology. The camera is equipped with a 40.2Mpx X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor and a powerful X-Processor 5 image processor, ensuring superior image quality and high processing speed. It has In-Body Image Stabilisation (IBIS) with up to 6 EV, which allows you to achieve sharp images even at longer times. The X100VI can also record 6.2K high-definition video and offers advanced autofocus along with REALA ACE movie simulation mode. The fixed 23mm lens with f/2 aperture has been retained, which corresponds to the classic 35mm focal length. The lens is the heart of the system and allows for great results even in low light. There is also a hybrid viewfinder with the option to switch between optical and electronic modes.

X-Trans CMOS 5 HR high resolution 40.2 megapixel
The optically precise 23mm f/2 lens is perfectly complemented by a 40.2MP sensor that delivers edge-to-edge sharpness. The X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor has an enhanced image processing algorithm that improves resolution and provides superior image quality without compromising signal-to-noise ratio. The sensor reading speed is more than four times faster than the previous model and more than thirty times faster than the first generation. Thanks to the high reading speed, it is possible to process the targeting signals simultaneously with the display of the resulting image. The sensor uses a unique array of colour filters to help reduce moiré and false colours without the need for an optical low-pass filter.

Powerful sensor and image processor for higher quality and efficiency
The X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor has an improved, more light-efficient pixel structure for more effective light capture. The ISO 125 setting, which was only an advanced option on the previous model, is now available natively. Engine X-Processor 5 provides twice the image processing speed of X-Processor 4 at reduced power consumption. It brings with it AI-trained machine learning algorithms for object recognition and enables the inclusion of the next-generation HEIF image format.

Updated AF algorithm
The X100VI features an efficient autofocus algorithm that ensures reliable focusing even when recording constantly moving subjects. The most noticeable improvement in autofocus is seen especially in zone AF and low contrast situations. Animal detection has also been improved through the use of AI technology, of birds, author, motorcycles, bicycles, aircraft, trains, insects and drones. As with other Fujifilm camera models, there is a separate mode for human face and eye detection.

Advanced exposure and flexibility with ND filter and digital teleconverter
A built-in 4-stop ND filter can also be used for greater control over exposures and making it easier to work with shallow depth of field. The ND filter can also be used when shooting video. One additional benefit, provided by a 40.2 megapixel sensor, are 1.4x and 2x digital teleconverter modes, which can increase the effective focal lengths to the equivalent of 49mm and 70mm.

Advanced Hybrid Viewfinder
The hybrid viewfinder lets you create compositions to your liking. It gives you the choice between versatile EVF and simple OVF. The EVF makes it easy to compose an image "in the frame" and display what the sensor sees. The OVF opens up your creativity by allowing you to see what's happening outside the main cutout, providing the classic "through the lens" feel of photography. The OVF Image Display option allows you to display the image after it has been created either full screen or in the corner of the viewfinder.

Film simulations
The X100VI gains the REALA ACE film simulation that first appeared in the GFX 100 II. In addition, Nostalgic Neg and Eterna Bleach Bypass simulations are added, bringing the total number of simulated film materials from 14 to 20. Reproduce the classic colours and tones that Fujifilm is famous for. Grain effect adds a natural-looking grain to your photos and mimics the rough look of traditional high-ISO film. The "Colour chrome effect" adds depth, detail and vibrancy to red, green or yellow tones in three levels of intensity, for "highly-saturated" onjects that might otherwise lose detail. Or use "colour Chrome FX Blue" to highlight blue tones in the image.

6.2K/30p 4:2:2 10-bit internal video recording
The X100VI delivers advanced video performance in a compact and lightweight body. You can shoot movies internally at up to 6.2K at 30 frames per second with 10-bit 4:2:2 colour depth. In addition, 4K/60p and 1080/240p high-speed shooting is available, which increases flexibility when shooting video. Use AF-C mode with Wide/Tracking AF to easily track moving subjects while shooting video - simply tap the subject on the rear LCD. The X100VI will be able to track an object even in situations where multiple objects are in the frame.
FujiFilm X100VI Silver Review
Exceptional design, superb build quality, compact size and superior image quality - that's a simple way to describe the Fujifilm X100VI digital compact camera. While its price is higher and some details, such as the lack of a sun visor in the basic package, may be a deal breaker for some, the overall features and performance outweigh these shortcomings. It's a camera for those who appreciate retro design with modern technology and are looking for a tool that delivers top-notch results. If you are a discerning user who is not afraid to invest in quality and originality, the Fujifilm X100VI will not disappoint and can become a faithful companion on your photographic expeditions.
