Carbo medicinalis (activated carbon for internal use) is a plant-derived carbon with a specific structure and a large active surface. It works on the principle of adsorption, i.e. uptake of mainly organic substances and gases from the surrounding environment by their attachment to the surface of the carba structure. It is not absorbed into the body. When taken at least 1 g (4 tablets) at least 30 minutes before meals and at least 1 g (4 tablets) after meals, it reduces excessive intestinal flatulence. Kaolin contributes to the adsorption capacity of the product.

Recommended dosage
Usually 2-4 tablets 2-3 times a day (for children the lower limit of the dosage applies), ideally chew the tablets and drink thoroughly with clean water. When taken at least 1 g (4 tablets) at least 30 minutes before meals and at least 1 g (4 tablets) after meals, the product reduces excessive intestinal flatulence. The product is intended for short-term use.

The product is not intended for children under 3 years of age. Keep out of reach of children. It is not intended as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage, store in a dry and dark place at a temperature below 25°C. Use by the date on the packaging. Do not take at the same time as orally administered medication, but at least 2 hours apart.
