Paracetamol, the active ingredient in Paramegal 500 mg, is a pain reliever and reduces fever. Paramegal 500 mg is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever reduction. Paramegal 500 mg is used for mild to moderate toothache, headache, menstrual pain, back pain and muscle and joint pain accompanying flu-like illnesses. It is also used for fever, for example in influenza. With neuralgia (pain in the course of the nerve), the medicine is used only after consulting a doctor. The preparation is intended for adults, adolescents, children from 6 years of age. Breastfeeding women can take the product only for a short time.
Dosage and method of use
Always take this medicine exactly as directed in the package insert or by your doctor. If you are unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Adults and adolescents (over 15 years of age) with a body weight of 34 - 60 kg:
Take 1 tablet, 2 tablets are suitable for body weights over 60 kg. The preparation is taken as needed several times a day at a time interval of at least 4 hours. The maximum daily dose is 8 tablets, the highest single dose is 2 tablets. For long-term treatment (over 10 days), do not exceed a daily dose of 5 tablets.
Teens between the ages of 12 and 15:
Take 1 tablet as needed several times a day at least 4- 6 hours apart. The maximum daily dose is 6 tablets.
Children aged 6 to 12 years:
Take 1/2 - 1 tablet as needed several times a day at least 4 - 6 hours apart. The maximum daily dose is 4 tablets. Follow the recommended dosage. Taking higher than recommended doses can lead to a risk of severe liver damage.
Contraindications
Do not take Paramegal 500 mgIf you are allergic to paracetamol or to any of the other ingredients in this medicineIf you have a severe liver disorder or acute inflammation of the liver.

Storage
Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Store at temperatures up to 25 °C, in the original packaging to protect the product from light and moisture. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the box and blister after the abbreviationEXP. The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
