Persona 5 - PS4
A superb sequel to the series that lets you spend a year in the shoes of a high school student, while shaking up the future of the world. It offers an almost 100-hour experience that mixes JRPG with adventure, logic puzzles and dating simulation.
In Persona 5 you have a dual identity
By day, you're a high school student dealing with the everyday troubles of a modern adolescent growing up in Tokyo. It is only at night that you become a member of the "Phantom Thieves" - a group that confronts evil in the hellish world of the "Palace", representing the human subconscious.
Like previous installments in the series, the highly anticipated Persona 5 retains dynamic combat, sophisticated RPG elements and a believable simulation of ordinary life.
The game's storyline is so varied and packed that you'll have to set aside over 100 hours of game time to get through it from start to finish.
Reality without napkins - as in real life
Apart from the characteristic elements (simulation of reality & fighting in the "underworld") you will also encounter more serious themes in the game, e.g. sexual harassment, blackmail, abuse or murder.
Fine-tuned atmosphere and gameplay
The long 8-year wait for the fifth installment of the series will pay off handsomely for fans. Whether you're a long-time Persona fan or a newcomer, you can look forward to action and cinematic sequences that are packed with emotion and gameplay that immerses you in an extraordinary world.
