In the early days of Reboxy Hardwar Classic Edition PC, Optimism was a thriving place on a distant Titan. During a period of heavy investment, MineCorp brought in workers from all over the galaxy to build huge artificial oxygen refineries and keep the vast mining industry running. At the time, titanium was a symbol of opportunity and get-rich-quick schemes, where an entire pyramid economy built around mining, dependent on titandollar. But a decade ago there was a sudden breakthrough, Titan was declared uneconomical. MineCorp closed its operations, abandoned the colonies and returned to Earth. You, who stayed behind, were left to the mercy of a crumbling society, where the work, relaxation and entertainment gradually turned into a business, and sometimes in death.

In a bleak world, you find yourself as an agent, another of the many clever adventurers trying to escape the stony wasteland of Titan. But the way out is only through money and reputation. Here, each agent trades, risks and gradually upgrades his ship known as the Moth, the only real asset he has. Better software, more powerful hardware and more powerful weaponry means more cargo, more orders and thus more credits. Progress on Titan comes at a price, however, because the more power you gain, the more enemies you attract. In the world of Reboxy Hardwar Classic Edition PC, loyalty is the most precious commodity.

Upgrade your space vehicle
Known as Lost Optimism, the city represents the last cluster of craters on the long mined Titan. In its narrow tunnels and dark links between craters, there is a suffocating atmosphere of rivalry and distrust. As an independent agent, you scour communication channels and accept a variety of assignments, from rescue missions to sabotage in hostile areas. Each completed job increases your reputation and gives you additional credit to invest in upgrading your ship. Although the energy from solar light wells is free, it is these sources that are fiercely fought over, because without energy, Titan cannot survive.

Get the Warp Moth
With growing reputations come more dangerous and better paying jobs. From the usual delivery or escort missions, you'll progress to bounty hunting, assassinations or demolitions of strategic targets. Each success moves you closer to your dream goal of acquiring enough resources for a high-end warp Moth equipped with special firepower, an advanced on-board processor, advanced communications and interplanetary flight capability. The rewards are tempting, but the risks are huge. There is only one rule on Titan: trade, upgrade, or get out. And only the fittest have a chance to actually fly out of here one day.
