Garmin Epix Pro 47mm Slate Gray/Black Band

Garmin Epix Pro tracks a wide range of health indicators

In the watch and mobile app, you can monitor a wide range of important indicators about your activity, health and rest. All the measured data is displayed in a superbly clear format.

• Health Snapshot — in a 2-minute recording, the watch creates a comprehensive report on your heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygenation, respiration and body stress (data can be shared from your phone and the Garmin Connect app)
• Body Battery function — this function gives you a complete overview of how your body is coping with stress and determines whether you are getting enough sleep, over-exerting yourself, etc.
• Wrist-based heart rate monitoring — the Garmin watch measures your heart rate throughout the day and alerts you if it is too low or too high
• Pulse Oximeter – find out how well your body absorbs oxygen during the day or at night
• Body stress — based on an evaluation of heart rate variability, this function determines the current level of stress on your body
• Breathing rate monitoring and breathing exercises — the smartwatch can measure and record your breathing rate day and night; it also includes breathing exercises that come in handy, for example, during periods of increased stress
• Hydration tracking — record your fluid intake and see how much you have drunk during the day
• Advanced sleep monitoring — the Garmin Epix Pro smartwatch can recognise light, deep, and REM sleep stages, as well as time spent moving
• Endurance score — using the PacePro function, the smartwatch measures your ability to sustain long-term exertion. This helps you better understand how your training sessions affect your overall endurance.

Garmin Epix Pro accurately measures your activity

To record your activity, the Garmin Epix Pro watch comes with a wide range of sports profiles (e.g., running, cycling, swimming, skiing, golf, hiking, rowing, and more). If the current selection isn't enough, you can use the Connect IQ platform to download more. Each sport allows you to individually adjust screen settings, functions, and power modes. The watch even comes with pre-installed animated workouts (cardio, yoga, pilates, strength training and HIIT). Simply activate them and the watch display will show you not only what the exercises look like, but also how long to do them. You can download more through the Garmin Connect app to expand the current selection. For strength training enthusiasts, the Garmin Epix Pro watch has a special profile and function where you can save information about exercises, weights lifted, and your personal records. The function can then graphically show the muscle groups you've worked. In the Garmin Connect app, you can create your own workouts by putting them together from over 1600 exercises stored in the database. Amateur and advanced running enthusiasts will appreciate the presence of the virtual Garmin Coach, which helps you prepare for a race. For runners in particular, there's also the PacePro feature, which lets you plan your pace and the elevation profile of the race you're training for. You also get precise performance metrics to improve your training methods. For example, you'll find out your running dynamics, VO2 Max, your acclimatisation status based on temperature and altitude, training effect, or recovery advisor. Mountain bikers can look forward to special Grit™ and Flow™ functions, which evaluate the difficulty of the trail and the smoothness of the descent itself. This gives you feedback and shows you where and how you can improve. Skiing and ski touring fans will find the Garmin Epix Pro watch a reliable tool for creating statistics of metres climbed and descended.
