inReach technology and SOS with Garmin Response
The Garmin Fenix 8 Pro is the first smartwatch with built-in inReach technology, giving you peace of mind on your travels via LTE and satellite connectivity. If you need help, simply trigger SOS communication for emergency support from the 24/7 Garmin Response coordination centre. With a Garmin smartwatch, you can safely venture off-grid up to 80 kilometres from the coast. The inReach technology lets you send messages and location information once you establish a satellite connection – no need to connect your Garmin Fenix 8 Pro watch to your phone. Thanks to LTE connectivity, you can leave your phone at home during your activities and still receive/send messages or make calls. You can also share your LiveTrack™ location with your family or friends. If the watch detects an incident during selected activities, it will send a message with your current location via your paired smartphone. You can also trigger the feature manually in an emergency.
Durable design, great display and long battery life
The Garmin Fenix 8 Pro combines a premium design with a highly durable construction and a titanium bezel. The high-quality 1.4-inch AMOLED display is protected by sapphire glass, which is highly resistant to scratching. The smartwatch has water-resistant buttons and metal sensor protection. The Garmin Fenix 8 Pro is also suitable for diving (down to 40 metres) and meets US military standards for resistance to temperature, shock, and water. The high-capacity battery provides up to 15 days of use in smartwatch mode.

The Garmin Fenix 8 Pro watch pairs easily with both Android and iOS phones. The built-in microphone and speaker make it easy to make Bluetooth calls from a paired mobile phone. If your watch is connected to an LTE network, you can even make calls without connecting to your smartphone. Of course, it also displays notifications from apps on your smartphone. You will also have a built-in music player with support for offline listening from services like Spotify or Deezer (a subscription may be required). Via Garmin Pay, you can add a digital copy of your regular payment card to your Fenix 8 Pro watch (if your card supports this feature), which enables convenient contactless payments.
The Garmin Fenix watch has precise GPS navigation
Its high durability and long battery life make the watch ideal for outdoor activities. For this purpose, the Garmin Fenix 8 Pro watch is equipped with an electromagnetic compass sensor with automatic tilt correction, a barometric pressure sensor, an altimeter, and a depth gauge. You can plan routes directly on the watch or in the Garmin Connect mobile app. A satellite receiver with support for GPS/GLONASS/GALILEO satellite systems and a multi-channel Multiband GPS receiver ensures precise position calculation. The optimal satellite reception setting is provided by SatIQ technology, which can automatically switch between multiple satellite signal reception modes to optimise accuracy and save energy.
Sports features for beginners and advanced athletes
Sports use is one of the main reasons for choosing a watch from the Garmin Fenix series. The watch uses a system of sports profiles dedicated to individual sports activities. Each sports profile has its own settings and specific functions for that particular sport. The watch is suitable for most sports activities, both indoor and outdoor. The activities where the watch is most frequently used include: walking, running, cycling, swimming, skiing, triathlon, rowing, strength training, yoga, golf, and many other sports. A new feature of the Fenix 8 Pro is a dive computer function for recreational freediving and scuba diving to depths of up to 40 metres. The watch is newly equipped with inductive buttons with haptic feedback and increased water resistance. Even underwater, the Garmin Fenix 8 Pro watch can be operated using the buttons without risk of damage.
The Garmin Fenix 8 Pro brings more accurate health monitoring for a healthier lifestyle
Garmin watches can continuously measure and record daily and nightly health and activity data. This primarily includes values for heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen level, breathing rate, daily step count, floors climbed, and minutes of intense activity. From the measured data, the watch derives other functions and metrics, such as Body Battery, Stress Score, heart rate variability status, temperature and altitude acclimatisation status, and more. The group of health monitoring functions also includes features for measuring the length and quality of your sleep. In addition to an overall sleep quality score, the Garmin Fenix 8 Pro watch also measures individual sleep stages, including short naps, and provides recommendations for achieving better sleep and recovery.
