The Forerunner 25 can connect to smart phones (Android, iOS) using Bluetooth technology. The watch is then able to display phone notifications (SMS, emails, calls) and some applications. 2 in 1

If you'd like a device which combines all of the advantages of sports watches with those of daily activity monitors, then the Garmin Forerunner 25 is the perfect choice. The Forerunner 25 has an integrated GPS receiver that makes it an ideal sports watch, but without the GPS turned on, it has a fantastic battery life of up to 6 weeks. Without GPS, it works as a pedometer and a daily activity monitor. You can set the target number of steps you want to achieve per day. Your watch also counts the number of burned calories, measures your total distance travelled, and reminds you to get up and move about after long sessions of sitting. The device will also measure your heart rate (sensor not included).
