The Garmin inReach Mini 2 compact GPS navigation satellite communicator offers tracking, communication, navigation and SOS functions with 100% global coverage. Not only can you stay in touch with your loved ones even in remote locations, you can also call for help at any time in case of trouble using the SOS functions. With LiveTrack, you can share your current location and route with your family and friends so they can always keep an eye on your safety during your adventures. Messages, emergency communications and position tracking data are transmitted via the Iridium® global satellite network. The navigation offers an electromagnetic 3-axis compass with automatic roll elimination, which provides accurate directional information even when you are not moving.

Smart features
The TracBack function will take you the same way to your starting point if you get lost - you'll see the navigation information directly on the display. The Garmin inReach Mini 2 allows you to store up to 1,000 waypoints, 100 routes and 200 activities for detailed logging and planning your adventures. The device also offers a detailed weather forecast - you can view it on the inReach Mini 2 or on a paired compatible device. You can even request a forecast for your current location, various waypoints or destinations in your itinerary.
Planning and backup with Garmin Explore™
You can also sync InReach Mini 2 with the Garmin Explore™ mobile app on a compatible phone to easily back up waypoints, save routes or plan navigation routes over a detailed map, create message and text templates, sync and manage your device settings. You get access to BirdsEye images, detailed hydrographic features including coastlines of the seas, lakes, rivers and wetlands, and also to a searchable database of points of interest (parks, campsites, prospects, picnic spots). The app also displays national parks, protected areas and forests, allowing you to keep an eye on your surroundings even during challenging expeditions.
Easy connectivity with Garmin apps
InReach Mini 2 can be connected to other Garmin devices such as watches or other mobile devices to easily send and receive messages, activate SOS, or start and stop tracking. With Garmin Messenger™, you get a quick and easy way to message and access SOS functionality even when out of cellular range, including support for group messaging. For pilots, the Garmin Pilot™ app is also available to send and receive messages directly in the cockpit using GPS location and in-flight location sharing.
Small but clear display
The Garmin inReach Mini 2 GPS navigation features a black and white transflective MIP (memory-in-pixel) display that is easy to read in direct sunlight and ideal for use in the field. The 0.9×0.9″ (23×23mm) display offers 176×176 pixel resolution,providing a sufficiently sharp image and clear display of information for navigation and communication in any situation.

The GPS navigation has compact dimensions of 4×2″ and weighs only 100 g. The Garmin inReach® Mini 2 is a rugged and durable device that is ready to face the rigors of the terrain and weather. With MIL-STD-810 impact resistance and IPX7 waterproof rating, you can rely on it even in challenging conditions during your adventures. Internal rechargeable lithium battery offers up to 14 days of operation in 10-minute monitoring mode and up to 20 days on 1 charge in power saving mode.

To access the Iridium network and communicate via inReach Mini 2, an active subscription to satellite services is required. Both short-term and long-term tariffs are available. Some jurisdictions regulate or prohibit the use of satellite communications equipment.
