The word "Optic" is not just a name - the watch measures your heart rate directly on your wrist using the special "Elevate" optical sensor. Brilliant display
The watch's dominant feature is the top-of-the-line high-resolution, colour touch-screen display that boasts excellent readability even in direct sunlight. The IQ Connect platform enables you to add different display designs, widgets, or new training features to your watch. Since these watches are intended for use during swimming as well, they are waterproof and can also withstand continuous periods of swimming. The rechargeable battery lasts up to 7 days in watch mode or up to 13 hours using GPS.
Smart features
The Elevate Pulse Optical Sensor provides 24-hour monitoring and pulse recording, the gathered data available for further analysis through Garmin Connect. Another interesting feature is "floor counting": using the built-in altimeter sensor, the watch can count the number of floors you have climbed throughout the day.
