Effects of Live Cultures and Microcapsule Technology
- Lactobacillus plantarum is a type of lactic acid bacteria. It is commonly found in many fermented foods, as well as in the human oral cavity and digestive tract. Bifidobacterium breve is one of the first main representatives of the intestinal microflora in infants.
- In this product, Lactobacillus plantarum and Bifidobacterium breve are protected from the effects of gastric and bile acids by being enclosed in microcapsules, which ensures their safe transport to the large intestine. This may appear as a slight sediment in the product, so it is important to shake the drops before each use.
Ingredients
5 drops contain:
Lactobacillus plantarum LP01 at least 100 million live active cultures, Bifidobacterium breve BR03 at least 100 million live active cultures, carrier: corn oil; active cultures: Bifidobacterium breve BR03, Lactobacillus plantarum LP01; anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide
Recommended Dosage
For infants from birth:
5 drops daily.
For children and adolescents from 12 years of age and for adults:
10 drops daily.
Warning
Administer the drops on a spoon or in any suitable drink or food. Do not add to hot food and drinks, as this may damage the live cultures. The drops do not alter the taste of drinks and food.
Food supplements must not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. The stated recommended daily dose must not be exceeded. The product must be stored out of the reach of small children. Do not use the product after the best-before date indicated on the packaging!
The product can be used for infants from birth who are not breastfed and do not receive infant formula already enriched with active cultures in the case of dysbiosis, e.g. after antibiotic treatment. Do not administer the product to children with severe immune disorders or those treated with immunomodulatory therapy. For children under three months of age, it is best to consult a paediatrician before administration.
