Émile Giffard was a chemist living in Angers (Val de Loire). An imaginative and curious gourmet of all kinds of drinks. He had instant success, Émile turned his pharmacy into a distillery and named his liqueur Menthe-Pastille, referring to the small mint sweets that were very popular at the time. Five generations later, the family business still bears the GIFFARD name and proudly maintains the high quality standards instilled by its original creator.
Giffard Lemonade Base Syrup
From this syrup, you can prepare an authentic, fresh, and delicious lemonade. An ideal base that can be easily combined with other Giffard syrups for delicious flavoured lemonades. A pure sugar syrup made from concentrated lemon juice and natural lemon flavour for an intense taste and a subtle acidity.
