Safe Operation and a Reliable Strix System
The safety of the Gorenje K17GPD kettle is built around the first-class Strix thermostat. This is an internationally recognised standard that meets high safety norms and is designed to withstand over 12,000 switching cycles. This means long-term stability, reliable shut-off, and precise temperature control with every use.
Boil-dry protection ensures that the kettle automatically switches off if there is no water inside. This safety mechanism protects the heating element from overheating and extends the overall service life of the appliance. The automatic shut-off feature, which activates when the water reaches boiling point, eliminates unnecessary energy loss and reduces the risk of overheating.
The glass body allows for visual inspection and contributes to safer use. Thanks to the water level indicator, you can see exactly how much water is inside, which prevents mistakes when filling. The light indicator clearly shows whether the kettle is in operation, which is particularly useful during the morning rush.
Intuitive Controls and a Clean Design
Operating the kettle is extremely simple and intuitive. It is switched on with a single, easily accessible button, and the handle is ergonomic and always pleasantly cool to the touch. The manual lid opening is reliable, sturdy, and easy to use even with one hand.
A major advantage is the removable limescale filter. It can be removed and rinsed in a matter of seconds, so you can easily get rid of deposits and maintain the purity of your water and the delicious taste of your drinks. The filter also prevents small particles from getting into your cup or mug during pouring.
The glass design gives the kettle an elegant look that fits into modern and minimalist kitchens alike. Its natural transparency allows you to see the boiling process, which is not only aesthetically pleasing but also practical. The 360° rotating base accommodates both right-handed and left-handed users, and the cord storage space keeps your kitchen counter tidy.
Practical for Everyday Use
The 1.7-litre capacity is the ideal choice for a family or a household where multiple drinks are made at once. The kettle heats water for several cups of tea or coffee in a short time, which is advantageous for both guests and normal daily use. Thanks to its high power output of up to 2,200W, heating is fast and efficient.
The glass body does not absorb odours, is easy to clean, and provides a clear overview of the water quantity. This helps prevent unnecessary re-boiling and energy waste. Moreover, the glass creates a light and airy feel, making the kettle not just an appliance, but also a visual accessory for your kitchen.
The kettle is designed for intensive daily use and easy maintenance. The removable filter, sturdy glass, easy access to individual parts, and automatic shut-off create a reliable system that will make your daily routine easier. The overall design is practical, aesthetic, and built to last.
